Ebay Enters The NFT Space, Launches First NFT Collection
Ebay is one of the latest companies to have entered the NFT space. The company announced this week that it is launching the first ever collection of NFTs. This Non Fungible Token will be launched in partnership with web3 platform, OneOf.
OneOf, is an Non Fungible Token platform which brings in new innovation to the world of sport and music. For launching an NFT collection, it named it “Genesis” on its platform.
Ebay is a huge e-commerce company with a massive presence and it wanted to venture into this particular ecosystem to be able to compete with other crypto Non Fungible Token marketplaces that are already existing out there.
Pharrell Williams Launches a New NFT Platform Called GODA
Pharrell Williams, Nina Chanel Abney, and investor and entrepreneur Shaun Neff are behind the new platform. GODA says its NFT platform will work with artists to leverage NFTs in a way that “feels organic and true to their creative voices.” GODA says it will “provide the ultimate user experience by allowing access to the best drops from a curated collection of renowned figures from the traditional art world as well as up-and-coming artists.”
The first drop on the GODA NFT platform is scheduled for early this summer. It will include a “mint pass,” which the platform says guarantees access to future drops on the platform. Nina Chanel Abney will be the first artist collection to drop later.
Polygon Opens Up Support For Terra NFT Projects Following Terra Collapse
A “multi-million dollar fund” called the Terra Developer Fund that Polygon Studios CEO Ryan Wyatt disclosed via Twitter (NYSE:TWTR) yesterday to assist Terra products in migrating from Do Kwon’s now-infamous and unsuccessful blockchain onto Polygon.
Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal mentioned a further relationship on Twitter was one between Polygon and Zoop, an NFT platform preparing to launch its own digital collectible trading platform. Polygon seems to be offering support to multiple projects amid this sluggish market and gaining the maximum.
