eToro expands into NFTs with launch of eToro.art, dedicated to supporting NFT collections and emerging creators

The $20 million dollar fund will be used to purchase blue chip NFTs, as well as seed emerging creators and NFT projects, whom eToro will support to bring new NFTs to market.

The first stage of the eToro.art program is the reveal of eToro’s NFT collection, which includes blue chip projects such as Bored Ape Yacht Club, CryptoPunks, World of Women, and projects of emerging artists.

In addition, eToro plans to support up and coming creators and brands on new NFT projects. eToro plans to commit $10 million in emerging projects, and act as a strategic partner to support bringing new emerging projects to market in 2022.

CoinSmart Invests in one of World’s First MultiChain NFT Marketplaces

One of Canada’s leading crypto-asset trading platforms, CoinSmart, has announced a strategic investment in NFT cross-bridge marketplace Curate. The agreement includes an option to acquire a majority stake in the company later this year, along with an undisclosed investment sum.

Curate breaks new ground by offering the first truly blockchain agnostic NFT marketplace in the world, which comes without gas fees. It covers major blockchains such as Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Binance Smart Chain (BNB), Algorand (ALGO), Elrond (EGLD), and Avalanche (AVAX).
