Samsung details how its TVs will become NFT gateways

Samsung is making good on its promise from CES 2022 to bring NFTs to its TVs, by announcing a partnership with NFT auction site Nifty Gateway.

In a press release, Nifty Gateway says that it’s “now integrated with Samsung’s NFT platform,” letting you “browse, display, and interact with NFTs” on the company’s “2022 premium TV product lines such as QLED and Neo QLED TV.

Nifty Gateway will also have an app on Samsung’s The Frame and Micro LED TVs.

OpenSea to Start Listing Solana NFTs

After months of speculation, OpenSea has finally confirmed the rumors that it will add NFTs minted on the Solana blockchain to the platform.

Solana is the second-largest NFT blockchain behind Ethereum. OpenSea’s competitors have taken advantage of the platform’s lack of support for SOL NFTs, and by making this change, the marketplace hopes to continue cementing its spot as the leader in the industry.

Many prominent Solana NFT collections have acknowledged this groundbreaking move, expressing their excitement on Twitter.

DeFiance Capital, Delphi Digital Co-Lead $6M Round for ‘Crypto Raiders’ NFT Game

Crypto Raiders, a non-fungible token (NFT) role-playing game (RPG) built on the Polygon blockchain, announced a $6 million funding round on Wednesday co-led by crypto investment firm DeFiance Capital and research firm Delphi Digital.

Metaverse ecosystem GuildFi, Merit Circle and Yield Guild Games also participated.

The funding will help the company aggressively scale the team, which currently stands at over 20, and invest in NFTs.
